They all contain silk powder and cosmetic micas. The silk makes them smooth, and the micas make them sparkle.
I guess this means that I really have to make more for next year, huh. I think I’ll start making them a bit sooner this time. They should all be colored as well, but I hadn’t dug through the packed boxes in my craft room. Before long, it will all be set up and ready for making soap.
When we moved here from California, I had an inventory of what was in each of about 400 boxes. I carefully photographed the contents of each one, added descriptions, and stuck them in a 3-ring binder. I still have it, of course.
But for the short, 1-mile move from the rental to this place, I wasn’t so thorough (kicks self), so I can’t find stuff. Sigh... It will all get done eventually.
Can you make soap from scratch?
It will be a good after-the-collapse skill to barter. :)
Thanks very much for all the loving work you put into your luscious, beautiful soap. They are works of art, but I know you made them to USE, so I am!
I put aside 2 extra bars for my hairdressers two sweet children, a bear and horse and of course, I’m saving two for my Jordie for next summer and one to take to her little brother: the Cowboy Boots!
ILY, my darling TOL and miss you like MAD!!
