Note the personal insult to the users of the tech, not the tech itself.

Personally, I couldn't care less if people switch from MS-Windows to Linux. It would be nice to have less spam-spewing zombie MS-Windows desktops out there, but that's what spam filters are for.

You'll note it contains no personal insults. I slam the tech, (justifiably, as there are apparently millions of MS-Windows zombies out there under control of botnets that do all kind of damage to the internet at large including participating in DOS attacks, and as sources of spam), not the users of the tech.
