I didn't watch the debate last night (sleep) so when I got up this morning, I was perpared to hear how Obama stepped onstage and Romney melted as an icicle by the fireplace. But once I started the pickup and poppedon 'RKO, the Talk guy (Feinburg) was strepitous with his coverage of it. He was giddy with excitement, whereas last week he was one of the "Stick-a-fork-in-Romney" crowd. OK, I thought. But perhaps, like with McLame, they're just trying to feed red meat to the supporters in hopes of igniting a frenzy. Inthe office, my associate (Obama voter) said it was a lackluster performance by both. I'll have to catch it on CSpan or something when I get home.
So, as I have no personal experience: What do the FReepers think of the debate?

Romeny hit it out of the park, not allowing Obama to get away with any of his mischaracterizations of Romeny’s economics. He was forceful, funny and engaging.
Obama rambled on, stammered and acted bored, petulant and testy.
It was a classic.

Romney kicked Obama’s butt.....he did it with facts a smile and persistently countering Obama’s lies. Mitt stood up for himself like the gracious business man that he is. Rumor had it he always has a good command of the details in any business deal, and this is the ultimate deal. He came through and I was cheering and laughing all through the debate. Twitter and FR were so slow I gave up on them. EVERYONE, lib and conservative alike were touting Romney’s command of the stage. Romney reintroduced himself, after weeks of Obama’s attack ads, and he connected with Americans. You missed an awesome night for conservatives.
