I agree with you, but I do believe that Free Republic is a place to safely bitch and complain as it most likely will not convince others to change their vote. The majority here, myself included, will vote for Romney. It is just a nice place to complain as I would not dare do so in public for fear that some undecided would hear me and vote for Obama.

I will, too. The game is what it is and the rules are what they are. For whatever reason, the “true conservative” candidates didn't get enough votes. I would have preferred Gingrich over Romney but it didn't work out. We have to play the best hand we can with the cards we are dealt. I know many people on FR are unhappy with that, but what can we do other than try to get our candidate of choice as many votes as possible and hope that it will be enough. The upside that I can find in this election is that we can defeat Obama and as many ‘Rats with him as we can. If we have problems with Romney and the ‘Pubs later then we can deal with them another day in another fight.
