This ODB is so meaningful, Rus! When I lived in Colorado, I also, was so amazed at the quaking aspen leaves. They would catch the sun at just the right time, and look like golden coins.
I agree, when so much turbulence hits me I pray and leave it to Him. He is in control and it is a constant reminder for me.
