Meg, hope you feel better soon!
ALL, enjoyed your posts today, just read them.
I was “busy” today.
A-hem. I was busy turning 50 !
Yes, I am now an antique.
Being an antique gets one more birthday cards than usual, I am up to 10 cards now.
Had a good birthday. Lunch at Olive Garden with local extended family.
50 feels the same as 49.
; )
Aw, Thanks, FRiend! :-)
You are so welcome, Mary Lou!

(((HUGS)))
Thanks, Jaycee!
I just had a long distance call (as we used to say) from Arizona! A cousin who lives over 1000 miles away called and sang happy birthday to me. So sweet. We talked a long time.
: )
Oh, I have no doubt he would answer it, jaycee. Then he’d just laugh at whoever was on the other end!
(((((Hugs and Prayers)))))
Lol, So True!!
You're still a youngerster yet! :)
Happy Birthday and have many, many, more!

The walls of the Mitchell Corn Palace exhibit beautiful murals every year. Scenes include birds in flight, Conestoga wagons heading West, Native American teepees, and rural settings. There is one peculiarity about these murals thoughthey are made out of corn, seeds, and grasses. The outside murals are replaced each year with a new theme, partly because hungry birds eat from them.
Jesus told a parable about birds and seeds: Listen! Behold, a sower went out to sow. And it happened, as he sowed, that some seed fell by the wayside; and the birds of the air came and devoured it (Mark 4:3-4). Other seed fell among rocky soil and thorns, making them unfruitful (vv.5-7). But some fell on good ground and yielded an abundant crop (v.8).
Jesus explained that when people by the wayside hear Gods Word, Satan comes immediately and takes away the Word that was sown in their hearts (v.15). The devil hates the gospel and seeks to prevent people from believing it. Often he subtly encourages hearers to procrastinate on making a decision or to forget what they have heard. To counter this, in our witnessing we should pray that the Lord of the harvest will cause the Word to take root in receptive hearts.
Read: Mark 4:1-20
Birthdays are better than we think, don’t you agree? I’d
rather have one than not have one....LOL! It does bring
loved ones together for a little while, like just talking
to your cousin and having your cousin sing the Birthday song.
Wishing you many more Happy Birthdays, TCP!!
I can sympathize with you, dear Kitty. Do you know my back
hurts worse now than before I had that surgery? Its so
depressing. I don’t use the computer too much as sitting here makes my back worse. The only relief I get is to lie down.
That takes the pain away. Sometimes I lie down several times a day to find some relief.
I wish I had the power to help all who live in pain find
peace and relief. I’m glad to offer prayers for each and
every one who suffers. I still try to keep the attitude that it could always be worse. (I have said many times that I believe those with back pain will always have it.) I’m still hopeful but the pain remains. ((((HUGS))))
