I remember when those weren't illusions and have lived in a place and a time where the government was still of and for us, not separate and against.

I believe that's what elections are about, mostly non-violent fights so that those things are reality, not illusion.

And, as this story shows, that still mostly non-violent fight is now on everyday, not just on election day.

If liberty doesn't win every time, human nature dictates that sooner or later, things most certainly will become violent. We barely know what we each are capable of...let's not find out.
