Never in any of these situations did I even refer to my predecessor nor did I attempt to lay blame on them. For blaming others is not what true leaders do. True leaders assume responsibility and they get things fixed. True leaders do not blame their predecessors in order to make an excuse for their own inability for that approach is the hallmark of a poor and ineffective leader. Mr. Obama, in just over four months, I will be inheriting your mess but you can be assured that I will take full responsibility for it on Day One and I will put the right people in place to turn this nation back in the right direction."
