I was a rocker in the 60’s and would NEVER admit to liking the pop music my folks liked. But Andy Williams always put a smile on my face. What a great voice and a truly gentle, kind man.
Gotta agree...I switched over to XM Fifties on Five after I heard he’d passed and sure enough, they played this within a half-hour. Wonderful music that still touches the heart.
Goodbye, Andy.
I remember this song very well, was one of my favourites.
Um......not loving, dude. I remember it too, extremely well done single. Great writing, great arranging.
(I’m a retired musician)
My favorite:

Catch the soaring part about 2:30- this is what made Andy great and set him apart from other singers.
Absoltely breathtaking
It is very good, but I think it’s thanks to the arrangement. Somebody else could’ve made this record, I think.
Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman wrote it.That’s why.
My all-time favorite Andy Williams song is actually a Christmas song, “Oh, Holy Night.” The music is simple, his voice is AMAZING, especially when he hits the high note.
His most famous Christmas song is probably “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”, which is great too, but he really scores with “Oh, Holy Night.”
Wow.
All the songs on this thread are really good, and bring back good memories
