4 years is a long time for the older folks ~ those death rates are substantially higher than for the 30-55 range. Frankly, i think the big deal is loss of older black voters because they moved to the other list ~
Some of us don’t want to think it’s that big a deal :) But I know what you mean. Still, I think that the “early voting” phenomenon of 2008 convinced a lot of non-older voters it was ok to vote absentee, though probably not in huge numbers.
