A good rain song and the best use of a voice mail system canned message in the history of rock.

Love, love, love ELO. I have been listening to them in the car this week. I like Eric Clapton’s When the Rain Comes too.

I don’t think Queensreich was on the list, but Eric Clapton was, and Guns and Roses’ “November Rain” was number 5.

When you said “insipid lyrics”, these came to mind, also-

But where do you go to my lovely
When you’re alone in your bed
Tell me the thoughts that surround you
I want to look inside your head, yes I do

I don’t remember the song, the artist, etc-just those lyrics.

Speaking of creepy stalker/voyeur, this was a top hit!

Every breath you take
Every move you make
Every bond you break
Every step you take
I’ll be watching you

Every single day
Every word you say
Every game you play
Every night you stay
I’ll be watching you

LMAO! I still have a tape of various songs given to me by a pissed ex-suitor when I quit dating him-that song was on it, as was “Fool for Your Stockings”, and “I Used to Love Her”.

I can suggest a cheap solution for that-running amok in a gathering of liberals, shouting after November, you must pay for everything-it is very satisfying-makes your guilty pleasure much more intense...

That’s much better than my original plan, which was to simply moon them. Butt that’s my answer to everything...
