Remember 2010? The polls pointed to a squeaker and the pubs destroyed the dems. There are more people awake today than 2012.
The polls in 2010 did not point to a squeaker. No one went into election night (or for weeks/months leading up to the election) predicting anything other than a wave election for the Republicans. Even Nate Silver predicted huge GOP pick-ups.
