Service has gone down to hell on long flights since they started having interior decorators as flight attendants!
The days of "Fly me, I'm Wendy" are long over. American flight attending is more a career than a young person's interesting short term job. So, first it was the sky hags, then it was the boytoy attendants. It definitely changes the flight ambience. When you see ads for some of the foreign airlines rated for service, like, say, Singapore Airlines, the attendants are attractive stewardesses, like in the old days.
Just sayin'.
