I could be wrong...the Republicans might actually concern themselves with the 1-3% who voted third party and totally change everything to appeal to that very select cohort four years from now if Romney loses.

However, history and logic makes me think differently.

Sometimes Republicans find them up against the wall when a very substantial portion of their supporters just don't show up ~ those who vote 3rd party are the least of their worries.

Ask George H.W. Bush about that aspect of the Republican coalition ~ all he had to do was lie to them once on an issue close to their hearts (taxes) and they cut him off at the knees.

No, voting for a third party means no one pays attention to you.

So FReepers should just take your word for that? Or would you perhaps like to offer some reason anyone should believe that?

A percentage that is fixed only if conservatives down one more round of the GOPe Kool-Aid.
