“In my Budweiser days (pre 1992) it was suggested I should maybe try limiting myself to one beer a day (rather than 1 per hr <:)
and I said no problem....I am already up to 2020 .....”

Being a home brewer, I got tired of bottling and just switched to filling 5 gallon corny kegs.

So one beer a day is in a very big glass, and rule number 2 is that if you give it a top off, as long as the glass is not empty it is not considered another beer. Thus, one beer per day is fine!

I still do courier work (somewhat) and one of my favorites is stopping in the rural stores....Just like an old movie, the REAL ones have an ‘older’ woman behind the counter, the owner kind of hanging around and always a couple of kibitzers...

I had gassed up so went in, paid for the gas and went to get a cup of coffee.
They had 32OZ styrofoam coffee cups...

I filled it up, went to the counter, did the obligatory ‘nod’ and commented - to no one in particular - sure glad I found this place ever since the DR told me to cut back to 3 cups of coffee a day....after the guffaws, it was like I had been born in the ramshackled shack down the road....
