If Obama pulls out a win, as things stand, America is over. I believe that fervently.

But I also think it would be a mistake for Romney to come out too strongly, as it risks causing a tribal reaction to take place.

I think he’s playing the cards he’s been dealt with as best he can and the polls are showing positive results, because the media has to poll +10 to show Obama leading by +2.

I know many here want a replay of 1980, where Reagan was able to devastate Carter, but this is not 1980. A devastating and relentless campaign will not work in Romney’s favour.

If Obama seems to be beaten up and might lose, all the Blacks might
run to his defense and go out and vote. A sympathy vote.

Don’t panic, quite yet, the carpet-bombing will start immediately after.

And don’t forget modern micro-targeting technology. If you aren’t in a swing state, or in a key demo, you likely aren’t going to see much.

“The debate will focus on domestic policy and be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on topics to be selected by the moderator and announced several weeks before the debate,” according to the Commission on Presidential Debates.

“The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a discussion of the topic.”
