You certainly hope that this girl is found...and found unharmed.That seems highly unlikely,however...at least the “unharmed” part.I’ve gotta say this,however....did the father know that this scumbag was a registered pervert,and,if not...why not???
This isn’t saying that Robert Lefevers is to blame for his daughter being kidnapped by a sex offender, because it absolutely is not his fault. He is simply a parent who was trusting of someone who lived under his roof.

Now, I do not make light of this situation and in fact in my own family there is a very tragic story which involves an adult and not a child that I will not share the details of here. However, suffice it to say and as I told my own child many times, I know these things don’t just happen to “other people”.
Nevertheless there really are very few stranger abductions of children.
Now maybe we would not count this as a stranger abduction since the perp was actually living in the victim’s home.
And I don’t want to run the father down, but this seems a strange situation to me that he would have a male roommate when he has sole responsibility for his daughter. And if he knew the guy’s records, well then he’s nuts and I would say that was indeed neglectful. And if he didn’t know the guy’s record, well I feel very sorry for him indeed.
Maybe you should check your facts before you publish them. Timothy Newman was not a roommate of Abigale’s father. Also, Abigaile’s parents have been divorced for years and her father has since remarried and has additional children. I understand the need for media, however, you have not done your research and are very unprofessional Chelsea.
This father should be investigated very quickly. I do not care about the misinformation given about the dirtbag sex offender not being an actual roomate of the father.
This father is guilty of PLENTY and probably more that we dont know about. WHY did this scum bag father know that his 12 year old daughter had been having sex with this oxygen thief since July, and did NOTHING about it. They said he told the guy to leave his daughter alone. really? he has sex with your 12 year old kid multiple times and you dont tell the police or go to his house and make sure he isnt spending his life eating through a straw?If this piece of trash even drove by my house, I would hunt him down, kill him and rape his dead corpse. I would then kill myself and chase him down in hell and rip his god damn heart out. How this dad didnt go to the cops or do anything more, is beyond me. Its like he didnt want the cops to know too much. Get this poor girl out of her dads hands. This girl would be better living with Kacey Anthony then her dad.
