No...it is YOU who should be ashamed. I mean REALLY ashamed. This monster (Sandusky) repeatedly molested--and in some cases raped--young boys who trusted him. And another monster did nothing, knowing full-well that all was not right with the former defensive end. From the NY Times:

A new, pivotal finding of the investigation overseen by Louis J. Freeh, the former federal judge and director of the F.B.I., was that Mr. Paterno knew as early as 1998 that there were concerns about Mr. Sandusky’s inappropriate behavior with children. It spawned an internal review, which Mr. Freeh said Mr. Paterno followed closely. It was an investigation that Mr. Paterno, through his family after Mr. Sandusky’s arrest, previously maintained he knew nothing about.

I also remember an interview with a hairdresser in State College who said that Sandusky's proclivities were well known in town.

Really...just go away...you are not helping Penn State, JoePa or anyone else with this crapola. You sound like the quibblers back in the '90s excusing Clinton.

So you’re quoting the NYTimes? A first on this forum.

You’re quoting freeh’s “summary”, which is (by his admission) based on “reasonable conclusions”.

The facts are that the “summary” is in no way backed up by the evidence in the report. This is really undeniable, once you read the actual report.

You believe the NYTimes and louis freeh all you want. They both are proven liars. Joe Paterno is not.

Are you referring to Louis Freeh???

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2928292/posts

“A copy of a document sent to me by a source and dated February 28,2000 ( a link is provided at the bottom) and further corroborated by other documentation has revealed that MBNA bank beginning in 2000 and throughout the entire tenure of Louis Freeh as the bank’s vice chairman and general counsel, was a major corporate sponsor of Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile and continued to be throughout Freeh’s tenure at the bank from 2001 to 2006 when MBNA bank was bought by Bank of America for $35 billion. Freeh at the time cashed in $20 million in stock options.”

No wonder Louis Freeh’s hatchetjob led everyone away from the Second Mile and its activity during this time. It would have pointed to him and the man who hired him to do the hatchetjob.
