But I do have 1500 AT&T and 1000 Verizon. I therefore collect about $8000 a year in dividends from smartphone users.

They are dumbphones, there is nothing smart about them. They don't do anything unless you input data into them. When phones can do something without the need of you physically inputting data, then you can call them smart.
Currently my 'smartphone' only is usefull as a PPD(Personnel Protection Device), in the event I need to throw it at someone. Costs too much money to get a new battery.
