While I love dogs and have owned several and still mourn their NATURAL death, I think the truly serious problem is WHY ARE THE POLICE SO OFTEN GOING TO THE WRONG ADDRESS.
Because they just don’t care. To them, all “civilians” are criminals or almost criminals and don’t deserve rights, much less respect. They put the “blue line” stickers on their cars for a reason—as a warning to their brother cops that they are “good people” and not mere civilians to be threatened, distrusted, and harassed.
Otherwise it's a constitutionally impermissible search.
I"ve done more than my fair share of address lookups for cop friends over the years since my job didn't come into conflict with the 4th.
Because they are being dumbed-down like the rest of the zombies who don’t think for themselves.
WHY ARE THE POLICE SO OFTEN GOING TO THE WRONG ADDRESS.
We live in a world where everybody is exceptional. Everybody gets a participation prize. No outstanding people are allowed. Mediocrity is the norm. Grades are inflated so everybody passes whether they can spell, work math problems, or read a map; or not. When these people get out in the world they are not careful or complete in their thinking and actions. Our education system has created a product where substandard performance is outstanding. Young people never double-check themselves as theyve been told everything they do is wonderful.
Exactly.
This story is sickening, and happening all to often as we all know!
kitkat, let me tell you a story about Police going to the wrong address.... In my city of 70thousand, the police went to a home and broke in the door. They made the man and his daughter stay outside on the doorstep for 3 hours while they searched the home. They took his computer and arrested the man.
It turns out that they had been investigating “child porn” and about 5 men in town were arrested. This particular man was later released because his computer was using an unsecured wifi system and others had used it to store porn!!
He was proven completely innocent but I’ll bet there will always be those who consider him guilty. It’s a shame.
