To: Norm Lenhart

I haven’t lived in Rochester since around 1973. I live in Central NY State, about 45 minutes east of Syracuse. Don’t know anybody who still drinks it. Every year my Dad looked forward to the Genesee Bock Beer they brewed. I believe they only brewed it once a year, and only during a certain time.

I remember Genny Bock. We had a couple stores in the Tri-Lakes that would carry it. Everyone tried it once ;)
That stuff could eat paint.

Back in the 79s/80s it was by far the most popular up there. I wonder what happened. Probably the PR push for the ‘exotics’. Hell, a guy drank Genny to get drunk, period, not because he liked it! We were REAL MEN! Not these home brew/Sam Adams pussified girly boys! ;)
