We had fighter jets overhead today too, though it could be because I'm about a mile from the north threshold of an air station. ;)

A day without military jets overhead worries me.

I had to attend a meeting in Seattle on Monday (I hate going there!). Boeing Field is the commercial airfield immediately south of downtown. Just as a bunch of us were walking out of the building two fighter jets took off at what I presumed was full-throttle - right overhead.

Startled the crap out of us!

(This is the field where the president lands and I’ve seen many flights, including the SST, but never one this intense)
