I hope the video was not doctored..it was perfect and I agreed 100 percent with everything that Romney said..now he has to use what he said and tell it to everyone on the campaign trail. The left knows what Romney said is true, just watch the DNC Convention, it was a freebie love fest..if Romney can keep on conveying the same message that was in that tape he will get more votes
Speculation is that one of the catering staff might have made the tape, but it's only that, speculation.
Unlikely that there will be any prosecution or even the attempt, but it's the law, for all the good a law does if no one enforces it.
(1) The tape recorder did turn off, as Corn said.
(2) The tape shows something helpful to Mitt, and so it was edited out.
(3) The tape shows something harmful to Mitt, and they are saving it for another day to create more damage.
I would like to think #1 is true, but knowing what slime David Corn is, I suspect it is #3.

the leftists are morons as usual. I talked to one of my liberal friends today and asked her about this tape. she scratched her head, not able to answer honestly if she understood what the controversy was all about. She couldn’t articulate what Romney said that wasn’t the conservative view to begin with. She already knew all that as conservative, and my views, to begin with. What was controversial or new about it except the fact that the media kept harping on it as “secret” tapes??? It was funny to hear it from her. I just kept my mouth shut and let her turn herself into a pretzel trying to justify the hullabaloo. LOL! But then I asked her if it wasn’t so interesting how the media was turning this tedious non issue into such a hullabaloo? In an aha moment I could clearly see the wheels turning! Something she always denied before: media is indeed obama propaganda arm and not real news!! so she just looked away and, oops, it was time to go back to work. That’s what I call Moving Forward!
This will not turn well for the left-wingers and their biggest gun against the right, their media conglomerate.
