Looking good.

I don’t see the EV info...where is that? Ras does note that Romney is down but just barely in OH, FL and VA....seems Romney needs all of those to win?
To: Cringing Negativism Network
And it still includes the weekend which favors democraps.

I don’t get the “Electoral Vote Tie” bit. What do you mean?
To: Cringing Negativism Network
I still find these numbers counter-intuitive...

After his stating the truth about those that do not pay taxes... those that are hard left and ows types... those that are government union drones... organized labor, code pink... and welfare scammers... these all make up the 47% that Mitt referenced... and with his declaration that Palestinians have no interest in peace with Israel... look for Romney to break 50% within the next 10 days.

Rasmussen is a rolling poll - 3 days I believe. So these numbers include Monday, Sunday, and Saturday. Weekends favor democrats becuase many Republicans are not home.

Still, I want to wait for at least the first Presidential debate before succumbing either to agony or exaltation.
There are so many things keeping Obasma a little off-balance now, that any waver, any stumble, any hesitation that drags on a little two long, may provide the edge. Conversely, if Mitt Romney fails to pursue a point, or is thrown off-topic, or does not summarily and decisively respond to allegations with no basis in fact that may be raised, either by the opponent, or more critically, by the moderator of the debate, the whole campaign may begin to crumble.

It's going to be interesting to see how this "secret video" changes things. It may have no effect at all, but it may also turn the race around.
"I am the 53%" was an effective meme to counter the "Occupy Mom's Basement" protest. It may be time to revive it.

thanks...I see what you mean. Tied more or less in the “safe” EV category. But still some work to do because his margin to get to 270 is all in the “toss up” states.
Basically...we are where we have said we are all along.
The whole thing comes down to 6 or 7 states. Same old same old.
The irony is that if Romney wins what he needs to just barely get across the finish line, ie, he wins OH, FL, WI, VA, IA, etc...then he is likely to win by a tsunami and get up into the 330 to 350 EV range.
Basically, we need about a 3 point bump nationally, and that national surge needs to spill over into those individual states.
Very very doable.
But not done yet.
