To: A Strict Constructionist

You can’t classify a person conservative if they happen to agree with just one part of conservatism. It’s a philosophy that touches across every area of your life, your worldview, how you behave and react, your moral foundation. Not just economics.

The problem here is this is a general election. It is not a conservative primary.

Romney is head and shoulders more conservative than obama and He keeps his powder dry enough to win the general election.

I will if you will, and try for a sense of humor why you’re at it. Like Libertarians all Conservatives can’t be defined by your definition. I know too many people that claim to be moral but are in fact theocrats and would love to be dictators because they feel morally superior. They have a tendency to violate the Constitution the same way as the left. It is for our good.
