I went to school with Glen. He is a hoot!
I saw this on a welder’s toolbox. Don’t blame me!
“WELDERS are like whores. They all want more heat, more rod, and more money!”
A couple of years before, I had a friend whose uncle owned a scrap yard, and that was where I got to wear a hard hat, learned to drive a truck and use an oxy-acetelene cutting torch. I only set my jeans on fire twice.
Later on, a shooting buddy was a master tool & die maker, and self taught gun smith (though he had some coaching by Ron Power). He swore he could teach me to do a complete tear down on all my handguns for proper cleanings, and while I was good on the Ruger Mk-II and 1911, I never was able to reassemble the parts and get the side plate on so the S&W revolver would function. So I promised him I'd never take the sideplate off a S&W again (after taking him disassembled revolvers 2 or three times!).
And Welding has always fascinated me, especially people who are master fabricators! I marvel at their work, and wish I was able to do that sort of stuff

I don’t need any welding done, but after watchin this I want to hire this guy!
Thanks D!
My youngest son is in welding school. Just passed plate, starting pipe in the morning. Glen’s sounds like the type of guy , that would make a long day
