Typical GOP death wish. If a truly conservative GOP candidate seems likely to win, the self-appointed party "bosses" will be quite happy to shoot him/her out of the saddle. Small wonder that we ordinary American conservatives seldom get what we want even when the GOP controls 2 out of the 3 branches of government as it does now. Although the GOP is far more aligned with the desires of conservative voters than the defacto Socialist/Democrat party has ever been or will ever be, many GOP bigwigs oppose, at least to some degree, the application of conservative principles to many vital issues that aren't fully compatible with the party line as espoused by centrist GOP candidates.

May God Almighty who established the greatest nation that has ever existed now empower true patriots to put this nation back together after more than 2 decades of liberal and quasi-conservative governance that has prevailed ever since the Reagan administration left office. One thing is as sure as tomorrow's sunrise, GOP bigwigs who put a semi-centrist party line (if there is such a thing) above conservative principles won't be of much help in that regard.

How about we put this nation back together ... but without idiots like Akin trying to help?

I do not want people like Akin (and other nitwits from both parties) in Congress. How about we work together to get dundering imbeciles like Aking OUT of Congress and more intelligent people in Congress?

Sick of choosing the lesser of two idiots. I’ve had enough. I refuse to play nice. I want them ALL out whether Dem or Repub.

One

BS. Akin had the support of the the NRCC, RNC, and other GOP PACS until he opened his mouth and said something so mind-numbingly stupid, that he rendered himself unelectable. Unfortunately, the Rats along with their foot soldiers in the MSM, were able to use one moron’s statements to smear the entire GOP. It played right into their stupid “GOP’s war on women” BS narrative. If Akin had left the race immediately, the damage would not have spilled over, but being the arrogant, ignorant, unpatriotic ass that he is, he refused.

Btw, Akin has damaged the pro-life message. I’ve had apolitical friends ask me if all pro-life Republicans believe what Akin believes.
