Yep it was a sad case to see him lose the lust for life— I saw a documentary on him and he was fairly vibrant and full of energy in the beginning, but over time and after all the dissapopintments, you could see his shoulders were more slumped, and didn’t hav e that vibrancy any more— Life was not very kind to him in some regards-

Buster had a very happy marriage with his last wife. Her name was Eleanor, I think. I have a memoir by her in which she has lots of photos of Buster looking really happy and at peace on his little farm in California.
