I also own the best doc on him. A Hard Act to Follow by the British film historian. A 3 Tape (3Hour?) You would love it. Great stuff. Also some of the You tube stuff is not bad.
He was the major influence on American film comedy(More Than Chaplin IMHO). He worked behind the scenes for all great comedy teams on their movies. Marx brothers and Abbott and Costello. Wc fields and Red skelton. Chaplin did not do this. Imagine having Buster behind you making a comedy. LOL! what thrill that must have been. The british Doc brings that behind the scenes stuff. I highly recommend it.
