What is the bumper sticker situation in your state? (Here in MA, O stickers are down 90% from '08)

Here's what my lying eyes are telling me here in occupied Massachusetts.

Four years ago every tenth car had an Obama sticker.

Today, I see one or two Obama stickers a day. (And one or two Romney stickers.) I spend 2 hours commuting each day.

So the Obama bumper sticker count in Massachusetts is down by AT LEAST 90%. That's telling. Enthusiasm is WAY down.

What is the bumper sticker count like elsewhere?

I am seeing very few here in Pittsburgh (in one of the nation’s biggest Yellow Dog Democrat areas). Most often if I see one it’s on an SUV pulling out of Whole Foods’ parking lot.

Here in N. Cal there are PLENTY of 0 stickers. I DO think, however, that there are fewer than there were in ‘08.
The other day I saw a Romney yard sign in our neighborhood. I almost passed out. Unfortunately, it was gone the next day. I’m sure it was destroyed by some misguided 0-Lover.

I bicycle Hoboken, NJ during lunch breaks and haven’t seen ONE sticker or window placard! I asked a passerby what’s up wid dat? He plainly stated, “ I guess they like BUSH.

I live in an affluent Memphis suburb that will vote overwhelmingly for Romney, as it did for McCain. Yesterday I saw my very first red Romney/Ryan sticker in my town. For months I’ve been seeing anti-Obama stickers.

I see Obama 2012 stickers on the occasional Prius and angry granola-eater hippie car, usually affixed near the anti-Christian Darwin fish and other miscreant drivel. I also see Obama stickers in Memphis proper on hoopties mostly driven by blacks. The overhwelming majority of those are faded 2008 stickers. About two weeks ago I saw a black man driving a Bentley with a fresh Obama sticker.

There isn’t a single sign for either candidate in my neighborhood right now.

I am getting an R&R magnetic bumper sticker from a friend later today. I will put it on when I drive on the highway, or away from the neighborhood and take it off when I get home or to the office. I will let you know where to get one of you want.

The place where I work has a lot of union folks. In 2008 Obama bumper stickers were everywhere, in fact it had gotten so bad that we were having to send out e-mails every day “reminding” them that political posters of any kind were not allowed on company billboards, because Obama stickers and posters were being put in the lunchroom and as fast as they were taken down another would reappear. This year is totally different, except for a couple “true blue” believers the lot is devoid of Obama stickers and there are actually a few cars with Romney stickers. The biggest shock however came when I overheard one of the biggest Obama supporters from 2008 telling someone that she was so fed up she didn't even think she would vote this time.

I never received my mitt sticker, so I made my own, being as careful as possible NOT to elicit anger. It simply says, ‘R+R > 0’. Afraid its too esoteric, only one lady gave me the ‘thumbs up’.
