So you don’t object to the 9/11 attacks, other than that they were against “your side?”

Terrorism is a perfectly legitimate military and political tactic?

Most Americans like to think of ourselves as “the good guys,” precisely because we don’t intentionally kill innocent people, particularly women and children.

Following your approach, we’re no longer the good guys, just the powerful guys (at the moment). Makes us no better than Nazis or Communists.

No, terrorism is not legitimate, but in a war all is fair.

And Sir Arthur Harris is one of my heroes, along with LeMay.

Both of them had no compunction deliberately targetting civilians.

BTW, Churchill once said “If you asked a Londoner if we should stop our bombing of enemy cities he would say NO, we must give them back the measure, and more than the measure of what they have meted out to us.”
