Kart, what if we had a "What would you do in XYZ situation" discussions... what would you do within the first hours of elections being cancelled? what would you do if you knew electricity was being shut off in 24 hours? Banks were closing that day? Terrorists hit within our borders?

Rule Number One about Prep Club: You DO NOT talk About Prep Club.

Well much depends on what the situation is, EMP you won’t do the same thing as Bank Holiday/Financial Collapse, which isn’t the same as a civil war and so forth.

The one think that all my plans have in common is who ever is home or gets home first starts filling everything we have with water. We have water stored, but for example we have about 50 and growing number of 2 qt. juice bottles for such a contingency.

Also if you can think of any out of the way places that might have supplies you can use, but are likely to not occur to people to go to. Make a run. For example there is a out of the way Dollar store near my work. Most people think of grocery chains and big box stores first in an emergency. Lots of useful stuff and at the Dollar store that I can buy cheap with what cash I carry.

Don’t go to the bank/ATM, grocery store, big box store or a gas station, You won’t get anything during a panic that’s worth your life.
