Heard a totally unconfirmed rumor that the second BP relief well tapped into the original formation in order to produce it. Have not tried to confirm it with buddies still in the business.

Don't quote me, and I don't remember where I read it, but I "think" I saw confirmation of testing that proved it was oil with the same composition as the BP well.
