This is awesome Gipper! I'm torn between reading more and getting some things done outside... lol

Yellowstone...not a hotspot but the subduction border

Yeah, and have you noticed the consistent activity around the Puerto Rico area for months and months now? Also, all other border areas, the Southwestern coast of Mexico, Fiji, the Philippines, Greece, Iran, the Sandwich Islands have been experiencing increased activity!

Maybe something similar is taking place in the Salton Sea area?

And it wouldn't surprise me for any weakness West of the Piedmont area, eventually developing into some type of calving as reported taking place in the Northern Australia/India plate! Hopefully after we're not around, lol, even for the beginnings of such!!

Well the biggest find of the day was the new pics of the Farallon, when you get a chance to download them they are awesome!

As to the weakness, along the spines of the Appalachians...it's interesting that the Virginia quake happened before we got a chance to map it with the ARRAY because I would have love to have known the stress level there. Also the fact they had the area targeted...

I figured out the web address for the imaging of the Farallon from the ARRAY....

Don’t have the 3-D reader though but I assume a is at it’s deepest point then to c the hightest.
