Did you ever seen the Steven Sondheim show, SUMDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE? It’s about the artist George Seraut who painted this? At the end of Act 1 the cast recreates this scene on the stage.. It is BRILLIANT!

I've had the pleasure of seeing several Sondheim performances...but not that one.
