Not one of his better ones, from the looks of the photo! LOL!
I do pretty well at flea markets. I got a Martin Guitar for $75.00, and a Pre CBS Fender (basket case) for $35.00. I plan on reconditioning the Fender. It is, what you would call, a “project”.

Best thing I ever found at a tag sale was a 2-cup Pyrex measuring cup for 25¢...which I was in need off, at the time. :)

So do we believe this story—or is it a way to get stolen goods back circulated into the market?

My favorite Impressionist painting:

I know from experience that people who are REALLY REALLY stupid and think they know everything are sometimes put in charge of liquidating an estate.

There was another story a couple of months ago of some lady finding some other major artwork at a flea market in NC. There was a label on the back saying the art came from NC State. So, if you find any artwork that belonged to a government institution, it may be valuable.

Technically speaking Seurat was a pointillist, which is generally regarded as a post-impressionist movement ;-)

Then you don’t understand art, and what a masterpiece it is. Therefore you should not be commenting on it.
(just kidding, this is the reaction from the ‘art community’ when a normal taxpayer asks why the government should have to shell out many millions per year to pay for these clowns)
