Even with body armor?

Last I heard there wasn't body armor, there was a tac vest... but say there was a flak jacket involved. How would you stand up to a grown man smacking you in the chest with a baseball bat that didn't penetrate your chest?

I'm going to fall down and gasp for breath.

Body armor saves your life (sometimes) by not letting holes get punched in you. It doesn't keep you from getting hurt.

I almost died from a 5 ft fall onto a sharp rock. Internal injuries suck.
