Learn the edible wild foods in your area (and how to use them). Just got done hunting for wild grapes. They make the best jelly you ever tasted! At the base of one vine, I found wild mint. I picked a lot, because I can dry that for later use. (I already made mint jam from our garden).
Can't wait for Autumn nuts and berries. Yum. Better than store bought by far.
