Cognitive dissonance. Not really. Many gays are high-earners with a lot of disposable income and don't care one way or the other about marriage. They're voting with their wallets.

No queers are socially conservative or religiously conservative by definition.
To say any are “conservative” is to ignore those very important aspects.
