I would disagree. They are giving Jimmy Carter a prominent role in this week’s convention. Obama is Jimmy Carter’s second term, and is a beloved figure among the Democrat Party faithful. Obama likes him because Carter is an enemy of Israel, so they have much in common.
Sorry, I shouldn't have included "partisan Democrats", or "the party faithful" in that characterization. I realize that the moonbats would pull that lever for Carter or Obama even if it was hooked up to an executioner's chair.
But, aside from the far left-wing, every other Democrat knows that Carter's administration was a disaster, and cringe every time he opens his mouth. Featuring Carter at the Democrat's convention will be like bringing the ghost of Nixon to the Republican convention. If they think Eastwood was a hoot, wait until the world gets another dose of Carter.
