Obama’s iPad UDID Was Among Those Leaked By AntiSec

President Obama is an Apple user through and through. He answers Reddit questions from a MacBook, got an early iPad from Steve Jobs himself, and Rush Limbaugh even thinks Obama hacked Siri just to mess with him.

But just because you’re the leader of the Free World doesn’t mean you’re not susceptible to AntiSec hacks too. The UDID for President Obama’s iPad may or may not have been among the more than 1 million UDIDs the AntiSec leaked this morning from the FBI’s databases.

During the second week of March 2012, a Dell Vostro notebook, used by
Supervisor Special Agent Christopher K. Stangl from FBI Regional Cyber Action
Team and New York FBI Office Evidence Response Team was breached using the
AtomicReferenceArray vulnerability on Java, during the shell session some files
were downloaded from his Desktop folder one of them with the name of
"NCFTA_iOS_devices_intel.csv" turned to be a list of 12,367,232 Apple iOS
devices including Unique Device Identifiers (UDID), user names, name of device,
type of device, Apple Push Notification Service tokens, zipcodes, cellphone
numbers, addresses, etc. the personal details fields referring to people
appears many times empty leaving the whole list incompleted on many parts. no
other file on the same folder makes mention about this list or its purpose.

Breach enabled by Java.

The real question here should be about what the heck he was doing with "a list of 12,367,232 Apple iOS devices including Unique Device Identifiers (UDID), user names, name of device, type of device, Apple Push Notification Service tokens, zipcodes, cellphone numbers, addresses, etc."

The government doesn't think you have any rights to privacy at all, and apparently everyone is fine with this.

The FBI is denying it categorically.

So, the questions are,

• Does Supervisor Special Agent Christopher K. Stangl exist?
• Was his laptop hacked?
• Did his laptop contain the file described (NCFTA_iOS_devices_intel.csv)?

Possible answers are:

• No such agent, no such computer. AntiSec got the file somewhere else: AntiSec lies.
• Agent exists, computer was compromised, file was found: FBI lies.
• Agent exists, computer was compromised, but AntiSec got the file somewhere else: FBI truthful but brilliantly hacked (and AntiSec stands ready to prove they got into Agent Stangl's files by showing what else they found).
