I've just returned from a 2 1/2 week trip by car to CA. Part of our trip took us across Wyoming (Highway 80). There we saw the most interesting rock formations rising out of the plain.
This picture is especially dramatic, but formations like this were everywhere. The sides of the "towers" were obviously sedimentary, but the rock on top was solid and probably was formed by a volcano. What erodeded the sides? Glacier? Flood?

(Joe Biden is reported to be seeking asylum in a foreign country so he does not have to debate Ryan.)

A very long processes, not formed from a single glacier or a single flood. And the formation its self is not sedimentary rock but a volcanic formation and much harder than the surrounding rock.

What erodeded the sides? Glacier? Flood? Legend has it as being bear claws.
