Another video from Yeager.
after your last post(the 1911 damning, travesty)....I refuse to even watch this guy.
my small carry pistol is modeled after my 1911...it is an older Colt Mustang....and like the parent gun, it rarely ever fails(and never with good factory ammo)...
do you have any gun videos by CHUCK Yeager....I would take his word.
I think it’s me that sucks more than my pistol. At 5’2”, the only way I’ve found to truly conceal a pistol on my small frame without printing (or wearing a jacket) is an inside the waistband sob holster. I might really have to try a compact one day.
It is only opinion and you know what they say about opinion. What makes this guy the gun fighting expert; how many did he survive; what was his evolution in carry guns? When he answers these questions, we might be open to discussion. I agree with you on the 1911 and quality baby 1911 such as your Mustang and my government model .380 but a carry gun is sometimes dictated by circumstances and mission. If I want to leave little trace of my passing, I would use a revolver and do carry them on a daily basis. If I am headed for the big city, my 1911 and a S&W 642 accompany me.
I have multiple Comp-Tac holsters and I absolutely love them! Great quality and easily concealed.
Shoulder holster? I thought that was an ankle rig ;o)
I am a SOB too.
“Yours might suck” - apparently if is isn’t A Glock.
I’ve yet to read an argument for not carrying a .40, other than it isn’t 9mm or .45. He never points out why either, other than just because he says so.
The keyword here is concealed.
This anti CZ75 guy is a moron.
It is the most widely carried pistol in the world.
It’s not that concealable, but its a great gun.
I’d like to hear what he has to say about Sig P220 Carry.
45 cal.
Single stack
8+1
If a civilian needs more than 9 rounds, it’s because he went looking for trouble.
For vehicle ConcealCarry, I pack a 45 with laser sight.
Also like to pocket carry a nice little Ruger 380 which is easily “not visible” on person.
Yeah, I know all the low power arguments against 380, but it’ll do the job up close and personal and considering most wanting to hold you up or assault do not really look forward to getting double tapped, even with a 380.
I think Chuck was partial to the .50 BMG, six at a time.
I agree with your post.....opinions. Everyone has them and everyone can agree or disagree. I’ve carried daily for years and still do not consider myself a professional. The key is....carry what is comfortable to you!! Carry different pistols/revolvers as needed. Carry multiple items as needed. 45’s...380’s....doesn’t matter considering having any gun is better than not having a gun at all! Get plenty of range time and shoot with the ammo that you will be carrying. Try different carry ammo and buy quality ammo! Buy quality holsters the first time and carry what is comfortable and safe for you!
But...all that is just my opinion! Personal example...at work...discreet carry pants...S&W Bodyguard .380 chambered with Hornady Critical Defense ammo...holstered in Alabama Holster Company right pocket holster...extra mag in Alabama Holster Company pocket single mag holster in left pocket. Most any other time...Glock 30 chambered with Hornady Crit Def ammo...holstered in Comp-Tac Minotaur IWB holster/right strong side carry...two extra mags in Comp-Tac dual belt slide holster on left side. It’s a win/win on any occasion! Too bad all my holsters, ammo and firearms were lost in a tragic boating accident....sad day!
And...as far as YouTube is concerned...my authority of choice has been and shall always be...Hickock 45! My favorite and highly entertaining!
A couple of idiots stroking their glocks.
