Suffice it to say not one of us would volunteer to be shot with this exotic ammunition. Yes no one is volunteering to be shot by this ammo.
Yes the expansion is impressive but given that you are going to give up mass and thus pounds of force by replacing lead with copper what are the advantages of this ammo over standard safety slugs.

There is definitely a trade off here. I use copper ammo in very short barrels since light rounds accelerate faster. Fast makes power and expansion possible. So for compact guns like .380s, 9mm, compact .45s or .357 this make sense. I don't get full acceleration of a heavy 230g in my short barrel Khar PM45. 165g has lower recoil which provides a much more accurate follow up shot.
