Don’t like the idea of gubmit subsidy, but to make such a significant change from gasoline to CNG, will need tax incentive help to establish infastructure for large trucks and autos/pickups.

If we could move transportation to CNG, it would shut the door to Arab oil imports.

I look for it to happen in the next four years.

I don't think the subsidy is necessary, just a relaxation on restrictions of production of the things.

In Utah, for instance, propane got cheap enough that stations are plentiful for that fuel.

If CNG can be used for long haul trucks efficiently, the truck stops will start carrying it. Cars will start using the same truck stops just like the Volkswagen and Mercedes-Benz diesel autos do now.

I would like to think that eventually home based systems would come down in price if CNG picked up in popularity.
