Mitt Romney slaked the Republican's thirst for a rousing convention. I didn't think it would get that good, but it kept getting better all week. Excellent! Even Clint. I cannot believe the way the MSM has dissed Republican women, minorities and elderly. Unbelievably petty of them.

Rise and Shine! Only 66 more days until we throw the bum out for good!
Awesome convention! I enjoyed every minute of it. What was your favorite part?

Awesome indeed! An embarrassment of riches. It's hard for me to come up with a favorite part - but Paul Ryan is way up there - Ann Romney, too! Magnificent products of functional traditional families who have coped with and overcome great adversity. The Lefties are absolutely apoplectic and I'm loving it!

I like this word. It brings back some good memories of young love.

LOL! No, that song is so deeply ingrained in me that it just naturally came out. As it happens I'm an aficionado of that delightful concoction known as Single Malt Scotch. Unfortunately, in the dismal economic swamp caused by the misbegotten policies of the Obama Regime, I am having difficulty justifying the cost of same. Yet another reason to throw the b@$t@**s out!

And so I always bear the cup
If, haply, mine may be the drop
Some pilgrim thirst to slake --
If, haply, any say to me
"Unto the little, unto me,"
When I at last awake.
A little Emily Dickinson to start the day, after an emotional night.

Sure, like a milk slake. Just mix ice cream and whiskey and it’s just the same as that store bought Bellies Irish Cream.
It’s called Bellies cause if you drink enough it will be leaving your belly right quick like. Yep, just that way you’re thinking.
There’s also a rock called slake but I think that’s just by people getting stoned on Bellies.

Somehow Irish cream works mixing alcohol and dairy products in a way that drinking a 6 pack and then having a Burger King milkshake doesn’t.

Did you see the delegate from Yinzervania last night? Penguins game jersey and a black fireman’s hat with a Steeler logo on the front.
To: SoothingDave
Missed that. I just saw Juan Williams on F&F with nothing bad to say about the RNC. Wow. Now I am speechless. Well...not really.

Saw an oddball in a firemans hat but didn’t identify the jersey/steelers logo. Why do people feel compelled to be a spectacle?
