While skeptical, I think this is a promising story. Naturally, it's going to raise a lot of controversy.

The one line that stuck out to me was, "Advocates of more traditional counseling-based approaches to recovery worry that the drug promises a quick fix to what they see as a lifelong illness, one that requires long-term support and commitment."

Cynical me, I can also see how those involved with promoting (and getting paid for promoting) those "traditional" forms of recovery might feel a bit threatened.

Sounds like the therapy lobby is worried about losing a major source of income. Naw...that couldn't be true. /s
