verb (used with object) 1. to grant or give, as by favor, graciousness, or condescension: to vouchsafe a reply to a question. 2. to allow or permit, as by favor or graciousness: They vouchsafed his return to his own country.
Etymology: 1275–1325; Middle English phrase vouche sauf. See vouch, safe
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.

Common enough.
This Saturday BBC America is running an all-day Doctor Who marathon. Showing the entire previous season and then, at 9 PM, the new season begins.
So, my mission this week is to see if I can watch the remaining ten episodes I haven’t watched yet before Saturday night.
Have you seen Blink yet? It’s in our top 5. The angels have the phone box.
A friend from work finally watched Downton Abbey and is upset that it won’t start season 3 until January. She’s hooked.
I Def blame Bush.
