This picture shows the 82nd Airborne and Combat Engineers. The game was played at the Berlin Polo Grounds in 1945. Both Eisenhower and Marshall Zhukov were in attendance. A reporter asked Marshall Zhukov which side he was pulling for and he answered: "The Engineers because they are wearing red". The Engineers did win the game. The picture was taken by my Father. Just thought it was interesting.

Wonderful picture.
My Mom and Grandmother (and other family members) were in Berlin at that time. I can't wait to show her this picture.

Still in existence. Was stuck in East Germany when the Wall went up.
