Reminds me of the Marfa Lights in TX. No one knows what causes them either.

We have seen the Marfa Lights, they are amazing. We had a discussion with our son (who hasn't seen them) and he say they are car lights on a near by highway. He says the heat rising from the desert distorts them, or some such explanation. I prefer to just be amazed by them LOL!
